Store your pearls in cloth bags away from other jewelry.

When applying makeup, hairspray and perfume, do not wear your pearls & put them on after the application.

DO NOT clean pearls with chemical cleaners.

Remove pearls before washing dishes or doing housework.

To keep your pearls beautiful, wipe with a soft cloth after wearing, wash occasionally in mild soapy water and have your pearls restrung at least once every 2 years if worn frequently (a service Designs by Georgina offers).

Silk thread is preferable, with knots tied between each pearl to prevent abrasion and ensure that all are not lost if string is broken.
